MICHIGAN ENVIRONMENTAL LAW ATTORNEY

Worldwide awareness of environmental issues, coupled with a complex mixture of federal, state and local laws, regulations and rules, has made Environmental Law an intensive area of specialization. Its outer boundaries frequently overlap with other areas of the law such as real estate, business, finance and administrative law. This area of the law is strongly influenced by social, political and economic conditions. Coupled with advancements in science, health, and technology, it is a dynamic area of the law.

No one disputes the need for clean air, water, and land. However, in the quest for a cleaner environment, disputes arise over issues such as who should bear the costs to clean up previously contaminated property, the applicability of a given regulation or rule, or the method by which the environment is protected.

Mr. Lavalle brings a technical background to this area of the law. He obtained a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked in the public sector gaining valuable insight into administrative processes.

The Environmental Law services provided by Kevin Lavalle span the entire regulatory spectrum from federal and state laws and regulations down to local ordinances. It includes:
